Wow! So much going on in this powerful book – the author does an incredible job weaving storylines and characters’ lives together. Teddy (Theodora) is a relatable heroine whose journey had me laughing and crying at different points.

Ms. Rose Gargiulo’s first novel, Love Lost Adventure, The Lie, whets your appetite with intriguing characters whose lives, though separated through the trials and tragedies of life, are deeply interwoven. Through thwarted desire and twists of fate, mysteries are solved and destiny speaks, leaving the reader totally and utterly satisfied, while concurrently wanting more. In short, Ms. Gargiulo keeps you totally hooked. Love Lost Adventure, The Lie, was such a joyful read, with just enough raunchiness to make your cheeks a little, dare I say, rosy. I cannot wait for the sequel. 5 stars.

I love love love this book. It’s brilliantly written, packed with twists/turns, and a real page turner. It’s meditation on love, both the light and dark sides of it, has left me in deep contemplation. I can not wait for the next book in the series! A must read for any fans of this genre.

Was up late reading in bed, couldn’t put it down. Wow, totally captivating. So many small side stories which I know will all tie in together. I’m assuming this will be a series?

So, I just finished reading “Love Lost Adventure” and let me tell you, it’s like this awesome mix of romance, adventure, and mystery all rolled into one. The way Theodora Hayes embarks on this crazy journey, jumping between modern times and the Civil War era, is just so cool. There are these super heartwarming moments, quirky characters, and twists you totally don’t see coming. Gargiulo’s storytelling is seriously on point – the witty dialogues and how all these different plotlines come together is just amazing. If you’re up for a love story that’s anything but ordinary, this book is a must-read.

I really enjoyed reading this and following the story. There are a lot of surprises and plot twists, characters who draw you into their lives, and it never gets boring. I kept wanting to find out how it turned out. I hope this author continues the story where she left off, as I’ll be excited to read her next effort.
